Sustenance Nourishing Infusion
Daily Nutritional Support
A nourishing infusion is a strong tea made from nutrient rich herbs. The difference between a nourishing infusion and a tea is how you brew it. While you could brew Sustenance as a tea, in order to get as much nourishment as possible, it is recommended to brew as a nourishing infusion. Basically, instead of brewing a tablespoon of herb per cup, you are using more. And instead of steeping for 10 minutes, you are steeping for much longer. Here’s how:
We like to brew our infusions by the quart. In a 1 quart size canning jar, add anywhere from 1 large handful up to 1 oz of herbs. We usually go with 2 large handfuls. Fill the rest of the jar with fresh boiled water. Cover and steep 4 hours or as long as overnight. For best results, drink daily.
Now, please do not try this method with just any herbs! Nourishing infusions are only to be made with herbs that can be safely taken in large amounts, and are nourishing, like food.
This blend has oatstraw & milky oat tops(restorative nervous system tonic), nettle leaf(nutritive support for all body systems), and red clover blossoms(respiratory and lymphatic support). Try drinking a quart daily and notice if there are any changes in your overall energy level, mood, skin, digestion, etc.
