Autumn Tonic Tea
Celebrate Fall with Autumn Tonic Tea! This is a transitional time of year, with lots of weather changes and a quicker pace to our routines. Autumn Tonic Tea can help us to stay balanced with the season.
Dandelion root tones and supports all body systems, and gives the liver and digestion the extra support these systems need this time of year. Sweet tasting marshmallow root soothes inflammation, especially in the respiratory and digestive systems. Ginger and Cinnamon bring sweet spice and warmth, as well as antiviral and antimicrobial actions. The orange peel ties it all together into a comforting, tasty tea to embrace the colors of Fall.
DIRECTIONS: Use 1 tablespoon tea per cup. Simmer, covered, on the stove for 20 minutes. Do not boil. Strain, add sweetener (or apple cider!) if desired, and enjoy!
