Motherwort Tincture

Description

Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) aerial parts in organic vodka.

Motherwort is traditionally used as a tonic for the heart.  It can help ease nervous irritability as well.  Motherwort is also used as a uterine tonic and can help to relieve menstrual cramps and bring on a late flow.  It can assist with moderating hormone levels, emotional swings, and hot flashes.  It is important to know that it can encourage a heavier flow so if you already have an excessive heavy flow do not use Motherwort during menstruation.

Suggested is 10-30 drops (start with the lowest possible dose and titrate up slowly) as needed, up to 3 times in a day.
