An alterative herb is one that assists the body in restoring its proper function over time, helping to increase wellness & vitality. Alterative herbs are traditionally used when there is chronic imbalance in the digestive, hepatobiliary, & circulatory systems. They can assist the body’s natural detoxification process, as well as support liver function, hormone balance, and digestion. An alterative tea blend can be a starting point when experiencing PMS, muscle stiffness, acne, and sluggish digestion.
Use 1 tablespoon tea per cup. Simmer in water, covered for 20 minutes. Strain, add a small amount of sweetener &/or milk (preferably nondairy) if desired, and enjoy daily to support digestion, liver, and natural detoxification. For best results, continue for 3+ months.
